| Sierra's Mother Bird Radiant Heat |
| Sierra radiant heat brooders distribute a chick comfort zone compatible to a mother gamebird's
natural environment, while maintaining the highest fuel efficiency. The sierra 'Spooner Gamebird Brooder' environment management system once set for the incoming placement, provides controlled favourable conditions, eliminating the need for constant supervision or adjustment. Not even dawn activity wing flap or airborne particles can degrade the performance |
of the brooder to monitor and manage the litter floor environment. The 'Spooner Gamebird Brooder' comfort zone will always provide a litter floor micro climate to facilitate even chick growth. Specialising in space heating science fuelled by gas, Sierra's research embraces working game farm studies in the U.S.A., Canada, Europe and their U.K. home market. Such ongoing research studies with the support of the game industry are vital to advancing hatchery, brooding and rearing techniques. Sierra's years of brooder manufacturing experience has |
been invested in the GB2, 4 and 6
specially developed 'Spooner Gamebird' range. A range of fully fail safe brooders robustly engineered and assembled from extremely tolerant use and abuse tough materials. Designed to provide straight forward monitoring controls of pheasant, partridge, mallard and all type of avian birds with years of easy maintenance and reliable, economical operation. |

| Picture of controller | All models are available with two systems of temperature control: The thermostat controlled system establishes a reliable and deicated automatic modulating temperature control for environmental heat needs. Once set, the temperature remains constant within a degree or two, avoiding the risk of bird chilling. The ten-position manual gas regulator control provides the facility to complete the range of adjustments for environmental heating requirements. The gas regulator control can be fitted to a single gas cylinder or to a change over valve unit or into a gas line. |
| Where gamebird enterprise emphasis is proceessed product rather
than leisure sport, individual brooder controls or planned fully automated computerised controlled systems are available. All brooder models are fitted with a fail safe device. |
